Kick-off meeting in Malta
On 22 January 2024, the ECHOES project—short for “ExCHange Of ExpertiSe in healthcare professionals’ education”—held its kick‑off meeting, bringing together all five partner institutions. During this inaugural gathering at the University of Malta, representatives from each organisation introduced their respective roles and discussed the project’s strategic objectives, with a strong emphasis on fostering cross-border collaboration in healthcare education. Participants reviewed the planned work packages, which include identifying educational gaps, developing training tools, and creating a networking platform to facilitate ongoing exchanges among professionals.
In addition to the core partners, some of the associate partners and important local stakeholders were also present, contributing valuable insights and reinforcing the project’s relevance to national and European healthcare education strategies. The session concluded with a shared commitment to timely coordination and effective communication throughout the project.
